Dear Parents and Children,

 

Wow, you are all doing a great job on selling the raffle tickets, good on you.  Thank you very much

 

Raffle

As you may know the drawing of the raffle has again been delayed, as we are still getting more prizes from the local community businesses. The response from our local businesses is stunning, a list of who they are is attached.  You may want to go look and see if they have the thing you need to give as a gift to someone or even yourself.

The FINAL Draw date has been set

5^th of November at 4.30pm.

The children will be doing the drawing. You are more than welcome to attend if you have the time. If you have not returned your tickets or if you need more then please do it as soon as possible.

 

STONES

Thank you to Brett Fairclough, James and Matthew’s father, who filled in the ditch/pond around the steps to the hall and driveway so that we would not have to walk in the mud. Greatly appreciated.

 

FEES

Please remember to pay your fees on a regular basis, this means weekly or fortnightly. There are still some unnamed Direct Deposit payments that have no family to go to as there is no name on them. If one of them may be yours please talk to Rose so that your account can be credited.

 

ABSENT

It is vital that you let the staff know if your child is booked in but will not be attending on any given day. Quite often in the afternoons the first 10 – 20 minutes is wasted by staff trying to find where a missing child is, usually they are safe with their parent. This involves looking in the playground, phoning home and emergency numbers and talking to the school staff. Just a phone call from you leaving a message will resolve this and make the time available for the children’s use. The number to call is 59791149.

 

HATS

In the summer months, as at school, the children have to wear hats when they are outside. They may wear their school hats if they have them in their bag or you may send a specific hat to wear after school. We also have some spare hats that they can use but often we do not have enough. No hat, no outside time. They will spend the time sitting on the ramp in the shade.

 

COMMITTEE MEETING

The next Committee Meeting will be on 24^th of November in the Hall at 7.30 pm. Everyone is welcome. NOTE CHANGE OF DATE!!

Committee Meeting

There will be a General Meeting on

24/11/2009. The meeting will start at 7.30 pm and finish around 9pm. The meetings are held in the St Mary’s School Hall and all parents are welcome.
