Some important things to remember:
Please contact the Program if your children are booked in but will not be attending. This is vital so that the staff are not using time to find a child who is not coming. Also it means we do not have to call you to find out where they are. Remember that if we can not contact you or your emergency numbers then we have to call the Police and their time and man power should not be wasted if all it takes is a phone call from you.
The Program closes at 6.30pm. This means that you have to pick up your children BEFORE 6.30 pm. If you come after 6.30pm then you will have to pay a late pick up fee of $10 per 10 minutes or part there of. If you know that you will be late due to unforseen circumstances then ring and let us know so that we are aware of the situation.
If your child is unwell do not bring them to the Program in the morning as quite often they get worse and then you have to come back and pick them up. A child who is unwell does not have the ability to study or play and is better off at home in bed.
Fees must be paid on a regular basis either weekly or fortnightly. If you wish to pay in a different time frame then you must put it in writing to the Committee of Management stating the reasons why and the way you will pay. All fees must be paid up in full at the end of each term. If fees are unpaid then we may be unable to accept care for your child until they are brought up to date.
If you book your child in on a casual basis then you must pay when you pick them up at the end of that day or in the morning when you drop them off.
If there are changes happening at home or within the family that may have an affect on the way your child behaves then please let the staff know so that we can be of benefit to the child and aware of the situation.
Please remember to name your child’s belongings so that we are able to return it to them if left behind. Often things are forgotten and with no name we do not know who they belong to.
Some children are bringing electronic games, mobile phones or other “special” things to school and the Program. We are unable to take responsibility for these items and if they are lost or broken that is very sad for the child.
If you change your address, telephone or mobile number then please let us know so that we are able to contact you.
The Program no longer has the information to access how much you receive from Centrelink for fee relief. This is now done via the internet by sending the data to DEEWR who then pass it to Centrelink for the percentage and then it comes back to us the same way, telling how much there is still to pay by the parent. If you have any concerns in this area then you must contact Centrelink and resolve the Problem there as we are no longer able to do it.
